This colon cleanse therapy was practiced in Ancient China, Egypt and India. Colon hydrotherapy is tried and tested, natural method of gently washing out long-term accumulated wastes from the large intestine or colon.
How is Colonic Irrigation performed?
Purified water is slowly and carefully introduced into the colon via a speculum which is inserted into the rectum. The slightly heated water is inserted by a trained colon hydrotherapist who is present at all times during the therapy to monitor the comfort of the client. As this is an intrusive therapy, client privacy and modesty are the priority during any colonic irrigation session.
As the colon cleansing process with the use of modern machines is a 'sealed system' there are no odours or mess during the procedure. Fecal waste flows out through a clear plastic pipe attached to the speculum into a clear glass tube on the colon hydrotherapy machine. If they wish, clients can see for themselves exactly what is happening during the treatment. Most clients experience a great sense of cleanliness and well-being knowing that their bodies no longer have to deal with old toxic waste.
Herbal and probiotic implants may be used during the colon cleanse session and advice will also be given on dietary changes to enhance the treatment for long term benefits.
Who can benefit from colon hydrotherapy?
Virtually everyone has some built-up of wastes in their colon, this includes vegetarians. As most people in developed countries eat a lot of processed foods such as sugar, white bread, dairy products (mucous forming), as these unnatural and nutrient deficient foods move through the colon, fluids are absorbed during the digestive process and very sticky waste is created. These wastes cling to the colon walls and become putrid (they rot) over time. This results in the release of further toxins from waste the body has already rejected, causing an overload on the liver and all detoxification organs. Toxic overload can manifest in such symptoms as bloating, excessive and smelly flatulence, chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, headaches, skin problems and back pain.
