Customised vitamin, mineral, powder and herbal formulations
We constantly improve and expand our food supplements and health foods product range in line with latest consumer trends, nutritional findings and legislative requirements. This ensures that the wholesale supplements and health foods you purchase from us are always at the cutting edge and able to provide you with a competitive advantage as a reseller in the natural health industry.
However, for whatever reason, a reseller may require a specific combination of vitamins, minerals and herbs (for example, in order to target a specific market). This is known as a customised supplement formulation, and we can help you to develop your own bespoke food supplement, if required.
Product formulation
Subject to the conditions set out on this page, if you have a specific supplement formulation in mind that you wish to sell, we can make suggestions to help you complete the formula, thereafter quote and have it manufactured for your company.
Short product runs
Due to our unique and long-standing relationship with raw material suppliers etc, we can offer short runs of 30,000 capsules per customised supplement formulation.
This equates to:
- 1000 pots at 30 capsules per pot
- 500 pots at 60 capsules per pot
- 333 pots at 90 capsules per pot
- 300 pots at 100 capsules per pot
- 500 pots at 300g powder per pot etc. (Customised powder formula runs are a minimum of approximately 150kg per recipe).
Turnaround time for delivery
The time period between placing an order and receiving delivery is normally between 8 and 12 weeks, once the custom formulation has been agreed upon and approved. This turnaround is obviously only an estimate, depending on raw material availability etc.

The information we require from you
If you have a specific food supplement formula in mind for encapsulation, we require a detailed recipe in order to quote. This includes:
- Your full contact details
- Full formula recipe (e.g. per 1 capsule: 25mg vitamin C, 150mcg chromium picolinate, 10mg vitamin B6 etc)
- Number of capsules per pot
The same applies to quotes for powder blends, but the information is required per 1kg or per 100g. The minimum volume for custom powders is approximately 150g, depending on a number of factors, such as the quantity of ingredients used.
Labels for your customised formula
You can either make up your own labels for your customised supplements formulation, or you can make use of our Own Label service.
Getting a quote
Please note, as it is a time-consuming process to prepare quotes for customised formulas and we really only wish to deal with serious customers, we charge a small administration fee of £10.00 + VAT per formula to prepare quotes.
